I've always been a bird-lover and in the spring of 2017, I finally decided to start my own flock - of chickens! My family and I chose four sweet little chicks and raised them to be the beautiful hens that they are now. Our birds live happily in our Shoreline, Washington backyard. We added two babies to our flock in June of 2020 for our broody hen to raise. She's never been happier! We love all of
our gals.

 

As an artist and bird-lover, chickens have easily become my preferred models and furthermore, I think they are hilarious and beautiful. I came to realize that other chicken enthusiasts may want to have portraits of their own feathered friends so I'm hoping to be at their service to make them!

Since chickens are a bit twitchy and fast, I work from photographs. If you would like a custom portrait, please send me a high quality digital photograph and I will make you a 5"x7" colored pencil drawing for $120.00.
